How the transfer works

  1. Booking. Choose your route in the calculator or give us a call. Tell us the address, the time, the number of passengers, your luggage and whether children or an animal are travelling.
  2. Confirmation. The dispatcher confirms the vehicle, the price and the meeting point. If you are catching a flight, give us its number.
  3. Pick-up. The driver comes to your address – in the Old Town, Trakia, Karshiyaka, Smirnenski or at your hotel. We also pick up from the railway station and the bus stations.
  4. The ride. Straight to your destination, with no changes and no other passengers. A break on the way – whenever you ask for one.
  5. Payment. After the ride, to the driver.

Railway and bus stations in Plovdiv

The Central Railway Station and the Yug (South) bus station are close to each other in the southern part of the centre. The Rodopi bus station serves the routes to the Rhodope Mountains, and the Sever (North) bus station the northern part of the country. If you arrive by train from Sofia or Burgas and are heading on to Pamporovo or Velingrad, we pick you up directly at the station and you don’t have to wait for a scheduled bus.

If you are visiting Plovdiv

Many people book a transfer to Plovdiv for a weekend or an event – a concert at the Ancient Theatre, a stroll through the Old Town and the Kapana district, a wedding or a conference. When your hotel is in the pedestrian zone, the driver stops at the nearest point that can be reached by car. From Plovdiv it is also easy to reach nearby places: Asenovgrad is 20 km away (about 30 minutes), and from there we can continue to Bachkovo Monastery or up into the Rhodopes if you want a day trip.

Which vehicle to choose

  • Sedan – up to 4 passengers with normal luggage.
  • Minivan – up to 6 passengers, or fewer people with lots of luggage, skis, a pushchair or a large dog in a crate.
  • Van – up to 8 passengers. Suitable for company teams, wedding guests and large families.
  • More than 8 people – on request. We have around 200 sedans, 50 minivans, 100 vans and 20 S- and E-Class cars and can send several vehicles. See also van hire with driver in Plovdiv (in Bulgarian).

When to set off

  • For a flight from Sofia – allow about 1 h 45 min for the drive and extra time for getting into the city if it is rush hour. For an international flight it makes sense to leave about 4 hours before take-off.
  • To the Rhodopes in winter – after Asenovgrad the road is a mountain road and slower when it snows. Set off in daylight if you can.
  • To the seaside – on summer Fridays the Trakia motorway gets busy after midday. Early morning is calmer.
  • To Istanbul – queues at Kapitan Andreevo depend on the day and the season. If you have a flight, leave a margin of at least two hours.

With children, luggage and animals

Child seats are free of charge – tell us the child’s age and weight when you book. If you are bringing skis, a bike or more suitcases, we will send a bigger vehicle.

We carry dogs and cats only together with their owner. The animal travels in your own crate or carrier. For a large dog we send a minivan or a van. You will find more on our page pet-friendly transfers in Bulgaria, for flights from Sofia – Plovdiv to Sofia Airport with a dog, and for the Rhodopes – Pamporovo transfer with a dog.
