From Burgas Airport to Tsarevo it is about 65 km – roughly 1 hour 15 minutes by car. Tsarevo is the southernmost sizeable town on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, with a harbour, quiet beaches nearby and the Strandzha mountains right behind it. From here it is easy to reach Varvara, Ahtopol and Sinemorets. If you are flying into Burgas, a transfer is the most direct way to get to your hotel or holiday apartment.
How does the pick-up at Burgas Airport work?

What is the road to Tsarevo like?
From the airport at Sarafovo the road bypasses Burgas and heads south past Chernomorets, Sozopol, Primorsko, Kiten and Lozenets. As far as Sozopol the road is wide and straight; after that it passes through wooded stretches with more bends. If you or your child tend to feel car-sick, tell the driver and he will take it more gently.
- Summer. On Saturdays there are queues around Burgas and Sozopol – add 15–20 minutes.
- At night. We work 24/7, and at night the road is empty, so you get there faster.
What is there to see in and around Tsarevo?
Tsarevo has two parts – the old town on the peninsula with the harbour, and the new town. The beaches are small and cosy, and there are wilder coves nearby. To the south lie Varvara, Ahtopol and Sinemorets, where the Veleka River flows into the sea and the beach stretches between the river and the sea. Strandzha Nature Park begins almost at the edge of town – with forests, old villages and the fire-dancing tradition of the village of Bulgari.

What if I am staying in a Strandzha village?
Some guests stay not on the coast but in the Strandzha villages – Brodilovo, Kosti, Bulgari or Malko Tarnovo. The roads there are narrower and winding, and some addresses are hard to find. Send us the exact address or a location pin on Viber or WhatsApp and the driver will take you right to the door. If you cannot find the price for these places in the calculator, we will confirm it by phone.
How do I get back to the airport?
For your flight home, leave Tsarevo about 3 hours before departure. The drive is about an hour and a quarter, and in high season there are queues at check-in at Burgas Airport. The driver comes to your address at the agreed time. You can book the return transfer together with the outward one.
When should I book?
In July and August, especially for Saturdays, book a few days ahead – cars for the southern coast fill up first. Off season we can often arrange a transfer on the same day. If you are a larger group, let us know so we can send a van or several cars.
