A transfer from Sofia means a car that comes to your address and drops you exactly where you need to be – at the airport, at your hotel in Bansko, outside your building in Plovdiv or at the bus station in Thessaloniki. We drive cars, minivans and vans to anywhere in Bulgaria and to the neighbouring countries. We work 24/7 and ask for no prepayment – you pay the driver after the ride.

- Borovets – 75 km, about 1 h 30 min via Pancharevo and Samokov. The last kilometres climb into the mountains.

How the transfer works
- Booking. Choose your route in the calculator above or give us a call. Tell us the address, the time, how many of you are travelling, what luggage you have and whether there are children or a pet.
- Confirmation. The dispatcher confirms the vehicle, the price and the meeting point. If you are arriving by plane, give us your flight number.
- Pick-up. The driver comes to the entrance of your home, hotel, office, railway station or terminal. No dragging suitcases to a bus stop or the metro.
- The ride. You go straight to your destination – no changes and no other passengers. If you would like a short break on the way, just tell the driver.
- Payment. You pay the driver after the ride. We do not ask for prepayment.
Which vehicle to choose
- Sedan – up to 4 passengers with normal luggage. Right for a couple or a family with one or two children.
- Minivan – up to 6 passengers. A good choice when you have lots of suitcases, skis, a pushchair or a large dog in a crate.
- Van – up to 8 passengers. For groups, teams and families who want to travel together in one vehicle.
- More than 8 people – on request. We have around 200 sedans, 50 minivans, 100 vans and 20 S- and E-Class cars, so we can send several vehicles at once. For groups, see also van hire with driver in Sofia (in Bulgarian).
For business guests and formal occasions we have S- and E-Class cars – see VIP transfers (in Bulgarian).
Airport, railway and bus stations in Sofia
Sofia Airport is on the eastern edge of the city. When you arrive, don’t worry if your flight is late: we wait with no time limit. If you are flying out of Sofia, allow for traffic – on weekdays between 8 and 10 am and between 5 and 7 pm the drive to the airport from the western and southern districts can take twice as long.
The Central Railway Station and the Central Bus Station stand next to each other on Knyaginya Maria Luiza Boulevard. If you arrive by train or coach and are heading on to a resort, we pick you up there. If you are coming from the other end of the country to Sofia Airport, see the page prices to and from Sofia Airport (in Bulgarian), or our English pages Sofia Airport to Bansko, Sofia Airport to Borovets, Sofia Airport to Plovdiv and Sofia Airport to Sunny Beach.
When to set off
- To the seaside in summer – on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings the Trakia motorway is busy. Leaving early in the morning or in the evening often saves time.
- To the ski resorts – on winter Saturdays the Samokov – Borovets road and the Razlog – Bansko stretch are slow. When it snows, allow extra time.
- To border crossings – on public holidays there can be queues at Kulata and Kalotina. Leave earlier if you have a flight from Thessaloniki or Belgrade.
- Night flights – we work around the clock, so a 3 am pick-up is a perfectly normal booking.
With children and luggage
Child seats are free of charge. Tell us the child’s age and approximate weight when you book so we can fit the right seat. If you are bringing skis, a snowboard, a bike or more suitcases than usual, mention it – we will then send a minivan or a van instead of a sedan.
With a dog or cat from Sofia
We carry pets only together with their owner. The animal travels in your own crate or carrier. Tell us when you book what animal is coming and how big it is – for a large dog we send a roomier vehicle. You will find more on our page pet-friendly transfers in Bulgaria.
