Passenger minibus hire with driver in Bulgaria

How many vehicles you need

Our passenger minibus takes up to 8 passengers plus the driver. A minivan takes up to 6 and a car up to 4. Here is a rough guide by group size:

  • 5–6 people – a minivan, or a minibus if you have a lot of luggage.
  • 7–8 people – one minibus.
  • 9–14 people – a minibus and a minivan.
  • 15–16 people – two minibuses.
  • 20–40 people – three to five minibuses travelling together.

We have around 100 minibuses, 50 minivans and 200 cars, so we can put together transport for a large group on the same day. The earlier you book, the easier it is, especially in summer and on Saturdays during the wedding season.

Why several minibuses rather than one big coach

  • Flexibility. The minibuses can collect people from different addresses, hotels or terminals and meet at the final destination.
  • Different times. If part of the group lands on one flight and the rest on a later one, each minibus leaves as soon as its passengers are ready.
  • Narrow streets and resorts. A minibus can reach the hotel entrance in an old town, a villa in a village or a mountain hut where a big coach cannot go.
  • No paying for empty seats. The price is per vehicle, so you book exactly as many as you need.

Typical group trips

  • Airport transfers for tour groups – from Sofia, Burgas, Varna or Plovdiv airport to the hotels. If a flight is delayed, we wait for as long as it takes.
  • Conferences and events – guests from the hotel to the venue and back, to the dinner and on the excursion after the event.
  • Work teams – staff to a site, a factory or a construction site in another town.
  • Sports teams and clubs – matches, tournaments, training camps.
  • Weddings and celebrations – guests coming from different towns.
  • Beach and ski holidays – several families travelling together.
  • Trips abroad – to Bucharest, Istanbul, Thessaloniki, Skopje and Belgrade.

Example: 24 conference guests

A company is holding a two-day conference at a hotel in Plovdiv. 24 guests land at Sofia Airport on three different flights – in the morning, at midday and in the evening. Instead of one coach that keeps everyone waiting until the evening, we send three minibuses – each one meets its own flight and leaves as soon as its passengers come out with their luggage. The drive to Plovdiv takes about 1 h 45 min. On the second day the same minibuses take the guests back to the airport according to their flights. Nobody waits for hours at the terminal, and the organiser knows exactly where each group is.

Travelling abroad as a group

If the group is travelling outside Bulgaria – for example to a match in Bucharest, a trade fair in Istanbul or a holiday in Greece – every passenger must carry a valid identity document, and for countries outside the EU check whether a passport is needed. At borders with non-Schengen countries there can be queues, so allow extra time. Give us the names and the number of passengers in advance so that we can plan the vehicles.

How to organise a group transfer

  1. Make a list. Names, number of people, where they start and where they are going.
  2. Note the flights. Flight number and landing time for each sub-group.
  3. Choose one contact person. The drivers agree any changes on the day with them.
  4. Send us the schedule. By phone, Viber or WhatsApp on +359 897 227 771.
  5. We confirm the vehicles and times. If the group changes, let us know as early as possible.

What the driver does and what the organiser does

The driver drives, loads the luggage together with the passengers, keeps an eye on the time and the route, and gets in touch with the contact person if anything changes. The organiser is responsible for the list of passengers, for making sure everyone is at the pick-up point at the agreed time and for any changes to the schedule. If a flight is delayed we wait for as long as it takes, but if part of the group is late for the return trip, tell us straight away – together we will decide whether to wait or to send a separate car for those who are late.

Price

For a point-to-point transfer the price is for the whole minibus, one way, not per person. You can see it in the calculator above. For a schedule with several trips in one day or a tour with many stops, call us and describe it – we will give you a price for the whole programme. We do not ask for a deposit or prepayment – you pay after the ride.

Luggage and equipment

Eight passengers with one suitcase each usually fit in the minibus. If the group is carrying skis, golf bags, bicycles, musical instruments or boxes of materials for an event, tell us – sometimes it is better to add a minivan just for the luggage so that everyone travels comfortably.

With children and pets

We fit child seats and boosters free of charge – tell us how many you need and for what ages. If someone in the group is travelling with a dog or cat, we carry the animal only together with its owner, and the crate or carrier is the owner’s own. See pet-friendly transfers in Bulgaria.

Cities

We work all over Bulgaria – in Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas, Varna, Ruse and smaller towns too. See our Sofia transfers and Plovdiv transfers pages, or send us your route through the online booking form.
